January Art

We have been focusing on the strand of Clay for the month of January. The children formed fruit and vegetables in clay. They also drew and designed their own monster. They then created these in play dough.

World Book day 2022

We had a fantastic week in the lead up to work book day this year. To start the week we watched an audience with matilda and friends live. We took a trip to the library and midleton books to use our world day book vouchers. We had a book scavenger hunt in the classroom which was great fun and we finished off the week with a fun-filled dress up day!

science week

we had so much fun this week with science in class. we did many different experiments. we saw what happened to skittles when mixed with warm water, we made lava lamps, we found out how cold and hot water mix, we made a tornado in a bootle and we designed and made various structures.

Jack o Lantern fUN

24/10/2017

On Tuesday, all of the children in Ms Hyde's class carved two pumpkins.

We needed three knives, a spoon, two pumpkins, gloves, bowls and a marker. We needed Michelle and Ms Hyde too. They had to do the yucky work!!

We had to cut off the top of the pumpkin first, then we had to scoop out all the guts and brains :)

We looked up a lot of different idea's on the internet and decided what kind of carving we wanted to do.

Michelle and Ms Hyde did the carving. It was dangerous with knives so we watched that part.

We decided to call our Jack O Lanterns, "Cutty" and "Chaos"

We had loads of fun!!

Happy Halloween!!!
